Fort Worth in-home Newborn Session | Newborn photos by Grace Hodo
Welcoming baby Charlotte with the Hillard family was such a joy. Their in-home newborn session was full of peaceful moments: tiny yawns, quiet cuddles, and the gentle rhythm of new parenthood unfolding in the most beautiful way.
Charlotte’s nursery was a total dream: perfectly pink, soft, and so thoughtfully designed. From the floral accents to her monogrammed blanket and dainty details, it was the sweetest space to document her early days. Every corner reflected the warmth and love surrounding this little girl.
One of the most meaningful touches was her Petite Keep trunk—a personalized keepsake box ready to hold her first treasures. I love photographing heirloom details like this because they tell such a rich, personal story. Years from now, it will hold memories that might otherwise fade: a hospital bracelet, tiny shoes, or handwritten notes from loved ones.
Throughout the session, Charlotte stayed content and cozy, surrounded by calm and completely adored by her mom and dad. We followed her lead, pausing when needed and moving at a gentle pace, allowing natural moments to unfold as they happened.
In-home newborn sessions are some of my favorite to photograph. They’re relaxed, personal, and rooted in the space that already feels like home. Baby Charlotte, you are so loved—and I hope these photographs always remind your family of just how sacred and sweet your first days were.
